The Process

Step 1:

An initial telephone

Consultation to specify customer requisite.  This can last from fifteen minutes to thirty minutes. Specifics such as privacy needs, budget, scale of project and timeline is discussed. This call is important for the client and Workroom because it is vital from the start that both parties can work together. Custom project take a lot of time and can be costly. The custom items such as Draperies or Motorized Window Treatments will last for years. Therefore emphasis on this part of the process is critical.


Onsite Consultation

Professional measurements by a Certified Installer are taken for window treatments, bedding, bench cushions, pillows, etc. An in depth conversation about customer specific need are addressed.  Photos of windows before project are taken to be used for the Renderings. The cost of the initial in home Consultation is $150 paid, which is paid at the time of measuring. This is not refundable. It pays for the initial consultation, measurements, fabric calculations and renderings. Calculations also include cost and amount of hardward plus cost of installation of your window treatments.

     There is a general talk of cost for types of treatments at this meeting. The quote is delivered to the client after final selections of fabrics, window treatments styles, hardware and other installation factors are addressed.



 Step Two: 

At this point an Official invoice is created. Payment is received at this time for 100% of cost of all materials, and up to 75% labor cost.

Step Three:

Project completion within 4-6 Weeks.  Installation and final payment received a time of Installation. To facilitate a successful installation, the Installer is scheduled to install at the time the job is secured.
